This moving adaptation, premiered by Parlor Room in 2014, frames the classic story of A Christmas Carol as a live radio broadcast during a blizzard on Christmas Eve, 1933.

An unlikely troupe of actors performs the radio play, each actor taking on multiple roles, finding themselves swept up in the story of Scrooge’s redemption. Once the play is finished, each of them finds their hearts changed by the story, filled with “love and a friend’s concern for his fellow man.”

This original play, written by local playwright Frank Robinson Jr., tells A Christmas Carol in a way you’ve never seen — or heard — before; it is sure to be the right thing to get you into the Christmas spirit!
