Lonnie DeVaughan Simmons (Director) is a founding member of Parlor Room Theater and has been working with PRT since 2006, both on-stage and behind the scenes. He graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore-County with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Some of his recent acting performances include Prince of Morocco/Duke of Venice in The Merchant of Venice (Baltimore Shakespeare Factory), Jasper in The Aliens (Fells Point Corner Theatre) and Clarence in A Christmas Carol, 1933 (PRT). He is currently working with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre where he performs educational shows across the MD/DC/VA area.
